During 2018, IHO Implemented the Following Projects:

 

1-Child Friendly Space (CFS): This project was for one month. Number of beneficiaries were 100 students. 20 students were from the host community and 80 students from the IDPs. (40 Male and 60

Female)

2-A Walk for Youth: This Marathon Activity was for 160 persons, 130 from IDPs and 30 from the host community. (70 Male and 90 Female)

3-Anniversary of Shingal Genocide: This commemoration was open for people to join.

4-Sewing course: The duration of this course was two months for 25 Female, 20 from IDPs and 5 from

the host community.

5-English Course: 42 students participated in this course, 30 from IDPs and 12 from the host community.

(17 Male and 25 Female).

6-Scientific Competition: 35 Person participated in this activity, 33 from the IDPs and 2 from the host community. (20 Male and 15 Female)

7-Volunteerism: The duration of this project was three weeks. The number of participants were 50, 44 from the IDPs and 6 from the host community. (25 Male and 25 Female).

8-First Aid Course: The duration of this course was 1 week. 25 persons participated, 20 from the IDPs and 5 from the host community. (10 Male and 15 Female).

9-Coffiure Training course: The duration of this course was 1 week. 20 Female participated, 16 from th e

IDPs and 4 from the host community.

10-Distribution of veils on deficit IDPs: This distribution lasted for 2 days. The number of beneficiaries were 300 Female, 250 from IDPs and 50 from the host community.

11-Cleaning Campaigns: There were two cleaning campaigns which were open for people two join. One lasted for 1 day and the other one lasted for 1 week.

12- A picnic for youths: 29 youth participated, 25 from the IDPs and 4 from the host community. (16

Male and 13 Female).

13-Donating clothes to children: The number of beneficiaries were 15 children, 10 from the IDPs and 5 from the host community. (10 Male and 5 Female)

14-Restoration of drinking water system: The number of participants were 120 IDPs students.

15-Distribution of Food Parcels. This activity lasted for 2 days. The number of beneficiaries were 30 poor families.

16-Distribution of Food Parcels: This activity lasted for 2 days. The number of beneficiaries were 400

IDPs families.

The Total Number of Beneficiaries: 921 Beneficiaries. The total Number of Families: 430 IDP Families.

IDPs: 778 Beneficiaries.

The Host Community: 143 Beneficiaries. Total Number of Males: 208

Total Number of Females: 593 Females.

Number of Students of Both Females and Males: 120 Students.

 2019 Projects and Activities


In 2019, Inhalation of Hope Organization implemented the following projects and activities:

1-Violence against women: These sessions lasted for 10 days. The number of beneficiaries were 60, 50
from IDPs and 10 from the host community. (30 Males and 30 Females)
2-Coexistence and social cohesion: These sessions lasted for 10 days. The number of beneficiaries were
80, 45 from IDPs and 35 from the host community. (50 Males and 30 Females).
3-Social Gathering: A party for people to help them be more social with each other.
4-Recreational Activities (FGD, Volleyball for females, and drawing): These activities lasted for 20 days.
The number of beneficiaries were 80 females, 65 from IDPs and 15 from the host community.
5- A Cleaning Campaign for Abdi Rash Graveyard lasted for 1 day.
6- A Cultural Course: This course lasted for 5 days. The number of beneficiaries were 25 persons, 20
from IDPs and 5 from the host community. (8 Males and 17 Females).
7-Planting trees: Three campaigns lasted for three days.
8-Anniversary of International Women’s day: The number of participants were 30 women, 25 from the
IDPs and 5 from the host community.
9-Cleaning Campaign in The graveyard, Abdi Rash graveyard cars park, and the road: This campaign
lasted for 15 days.
10-Funding The survivors from ISIS captivity such as students, poor people, people with special needs,
and widows: This campaign lasted for 7 days. The number of beneficiaries were 200 persons from the
IDPs. (70 Males and 130 Females).
11-Child Friendly Space (CFS): This project lasted for 3 months. The number of beneficiaries were 50
students, 35 from the IDPs and 15 from the host community. (20 Males and 30 Females).
12-Chemistry course: This course lasted for 1 month. The number of beneficiaries were 40 students
from the IDPs. (15 Males and 25 Females).
13-Mathematic course: This course lasted for 2 months. The number of beneficiaries were 80 from the
IDPs. (30 Males and 50 Females)
14-English Course: This course lasted for 1 month. The number of beneficiaries were 25 students. (10
Males and 15 Females).
15-TOT course: This course lasted for 1 week. The number of beneficiaries were 10 persons, 6 from the
IDPs and 4 from the host community. (5 Males and 5 Females).
16-Distribution of hygiene items such as Toothpaste, Shampoo, Cream….etc: This activity lasted for 1
day. The number of beneficiaries were 100 students from the IDPs.
16-Distribution of food baskets and clothes: This campaign lasted for 7 days. The number of
beneficiaries were 200 families and 300 children from IDPs.
17-Second Project of Child Friendly Space (CFS): This project lasted for 3 months. The number of
beneficiaries were 50 students, 31 from IDPs and 19 from the host community. (20 Males and 30
Females).
18-Provide the needs of an 8 years old child with special needs.
19-Basketball tournament: This project lasted for 2 months. The number of participants were 45
persons.
20-Provide the needs of some schools: The number of beneficiaries were 500 students.
21-Two Cleaning campaigns: The first one lasted for one day and the second one lasted for two days.
22-Financial Support to Orphans: The number of beneficiaries were 20 orphans.
 
The Total number of beneficiaries: 1696 beneficiaries and 200 families.

In 2020, IHO implemented the following projects and activities:

 

1-Food distribution in Derabon, Khanky, and Sharya in Duhok for 130 families of IDPs.

-Due to Coved19 we couldn’t maintain in our activities and projects for the safety of people

and our team members.

  

The Total Number of Beneficiaries: 130 Families.

In 2021, IHO implemented the following Projects and Activities:

1-Disrtibution of Clothes and toys to IDPs. Number of beneficiaries were 850 persons.

2-Awarness campaign and distribution of brochures to encourage people to take the Coved19 vacine.

3-Child Friendly Space (CFS): This project lasted for three months. The number of beneficiaries were 40 students.

4-Literacy Course: This course lasted for two months for women. The number of beneficiaries were 30 women.

Total Number of Beneficiaries:  920 persons.

Project Report
We started our project in 23rd of August, 2022 to 23 rd of November, 2022.
During this course, 44 students (26 Male and 18 female) have participated in the course and activities.
The program consists of:
1-English classes which they have learned many skills, vocabularies, English basics, etc.
2-Arabic Classes which they have learned during this classes Arabic skills in speaking, writing, and reading.
3-Awarness about many subjects such as Educational behavior, Child abuse, the important of education,
cleanliness, lice, Health prevention activities……etc.
4-Guide students especially those who need PSS in their daily life.
5-Music: As the students have suffered a lot in camps and in their life due to the conflicts happened, they have
participated in daily music classes to be a part of their normal life and to make a smile on their faces.
6-Family visits: There are weekly visits to the students’ families in order to meet with them and find solutions
together especially the students who suffer from psychological issues. This step has many positive effects on our
program which helps students to be improved in many sides.
7-Meeting with families in our center: Wednesday of every week is for families to visit our center to discuss about
the improvement of their children. Also students feel free to come to the center to play and participate in
activities.
8-Weekly team meeting: At the end of each week, the team has a meeting to discuss about the challenges and
how the team can deal with it. Also to put the plan for the following week.
9-School visits: School visits are ongoing to provide the needs of the school office such as stationary, notebooks,
A4 papers and ink for the printers, markers…..etc. In addition, the team present presentation about health subject
for a better environment.  
10-Drawing Activities: There were different classes of drawing for students. During the classes, they were express
their thoughts through drawing. This has helped us to find solutions for many students who couldn’t express
about their thoughts by speaking.
11-There is a special room for students and has many games and toys to play and have fun.
12-Football Stadium: The kids are playing football in the football stadium to get rid of stress and get energy and
also to have fun every week.
13-Every day the children have a break consist of juice, fruits, cakes….etc.
14-One of the students, who is an orphan and 8 years old, didn’t have an Iraqi ID, so our team coordinated with a
lawyer and made an ID for him and he joined to school. In addition, we bought all the clothes, shoes, bag,
copybooks, and will pay him amount of money every month and provide all his needs until his school finishes.

Our Events:

Our Events: The IHO organization runs different programs in Sinuni's sub-district in Sinjar. These programs are strategically planned and integrated into the IHO organization's calendar and operations. They serve as key touchpoints for the organization to engage with the Yazidi community, raise awareness, and achieve specific goals such as fundraising, education, MHPSS, women's empowerment, or outreach. The IHO team manages the planning and execution of these events.

2023, the following activities took place:

- CFS Project: This project comprised four programs, each hosting 45 students. Overall, 180 students, both boys and girls, participated in this endeavor.

- Volleyball: Eight teams from different schools participated in the volleyball program, bringing together a total of 88 players.

- Commemoration of the ninth anniversary of the Yazidi genocide events.

- Speech on Children’s Day.

- Humanitarian aid distribution to children project: This initiative provided humanitarian aid, including 250 pairs of shoes and clothes, to more than 250 children in need.

- Orphan support project: This project involved distributing financial support and school stationery items to orphans who lacked the resources to attend school.
